Listening to Tori Amos - 1000 Oceans
Yes, buhut dair karkaye update kaya hai blog but i have something big to tell...BIG BIG :D...but not yet, just give me a few days and i will let all you lovely people know :)
other than that been listening to a lot of tori amos and trying to arrange some stuff here and there for other tracks...its really hard these days to find the peace of mind to start working on the other tracks we have.
i wish i could rob a bank and start recording the album because i am excited already, even if its at least 8, 9 months away...i am just excited because i have high hopes from myself and the rest of the band...i already spend so much time setting the sound in my mind. the closure influence is going to be there, definately but in a more subtle way i guess.
no one has given me any audio clips yet...:/...i need them man..i have this instrumental almost ready just need some clips.
so what else, yeah a few days to go before we hit the studio again for the next song.
why has everyone forgetten about rushk? and the brilliant album...the sound was so fresh and there was definately so much originality lyricaly and musicaly in their stuff...they should have a website waisey...many people havent even heard their album which is sad.
am i the only one who thinks tori amos' latest album is REALLY poor in comparison to her previous stuff...i mean absolutely speaking it still kicks ass but i had so much more expectations, its just not tori amos in sound..i guess she has entered a new phase in her life after her marriage...a more happier phase maybe? and maybe she needs more time to find brilliance in that dept heh.
but jo bhi hai..tori amos tori amos hai...if i had to name one artist who had the most influence on me as a musiciain, not particularly musica'ly' tu it would be tori amos. her whole personality and how she dealt with things that happened to her as a woman is inspiriational.
song recommendation, tori amos - me and a gun, if this doesnt grab you by your balls tu phir i dont know what will.

oh and yes, the whole 8th concert incident we are so frigging over that :)...to be honest it has made us all in a very 'lets just kick everyone's ass' mood.

Firstly...Rushk what the...yeah. Bheegi Chandni me likes...Suiwa is the album or something? Err..
Uhmm..The Beekeeper...Wouldnt say it disappoints me, rather I think the fact that its 'happier' just adds a new dimension to her musical brilliance. I like Original sinsuality, The Beekeeper and Toast from this album - even had the honours to hear her sing 'em live :P. But yeah, would agree on the fact that the previous albums are much erm..murky (fine! I exaggerate!).
I defy you! Ladies do NOT have balls! At least I'm not aware of any. Hmph!
